“It’s a Wonderful Life” – Live from the studio of WBFR in Rosanna, Melbourne. July 5-20, 2019.

Director Terese Maurici’s dynamic team really step up to the plate for this one!

It’s a Wonderful Life [A live radio play]

By Joe Landry – directed by Terese Maurici.

Dynamic performances by a cast – most of whom are changing character every few minutes. One minute we love them, the next, we are affronted by the character’s behaviour – a serious acting challenge in anyone’s book.  George Bailey’s dilemma is delivered with song, colour, and convincing dialogue. With one exception, the community of Bedford Falls look like a nice bunch of folk.

Should you get the opportunity to see this production – based on the classic James Stewart film and performed as a 1940s live radio style with a studio audience – it scores pretty well with the heart strings! An absolute “must-see”.
