“The Drawer Boy” – When perceived reality gives way to it’s hard cousin… Sep 6 – 21, 2019.

Theatre student, Miles (Sam Barson), struggles to accept of the realities of a farmer’s life as lived by Angus (John Cheshire) and Morgan (Andrew McAliece).

The Drawer Boy

By Michael Healy – directed by Karen Wakeham

Two middle-aged bachelor dairymen, Morgan and Angus, live harmoniously on a remote farm near Clinton, Ontario. Miles, a young actor from a Toronto theatre group, comes to visit. Miles offers to stay and work for them so that he can gather material about their lives for a new play. The story he uncovers will change the lives of all of them forever.

This funny, poignant and beautifully-written play is an award-winning modern Canadian classic.
